Emergency Medical Services physicians’ perceptions of ambulance nurses’ responsibility for referring patients to primary care and self-care - a Swedish national survey

Based on guidelines developed by EMS physicians, registered nurses in the Swedish ambulance services sometimes by-pass the emergency department and refer non-urgent patients to primary care and self-care. However, these referrals are associated with problems that may jeopardize patient safety and patient participation.

Biogas production from palm oil residuals using textile reactor

Palm oil production is a major industry in Indonesia, which produces large amounts of agricultural waste. Without proper treatment, accumulated solid waste from palm oil industry creates environmental problems. This project aims to establish a demonstration unit in textile for cheap management of agricultural waste and biogas production.

The project aims to create innovative ways to show products in a retail environment using a web-based application. For instance, a website where the customer can see search parameters, a list of items from set search parameters and a gap with detailed information about the selected item. Technically, this is straightforward and similar search tools are eg on websites selling clothes, IT products or housing.

The skills of children's librarians

The study was carried out on behalf of the Regional Library in Stockholm. The focus is on the skills required in the work with children's library activities today and for the near future.
