LEK FULL, PLAY DRUNK is a textile project aiming to design textiles for the purpose of fun. It drives from an interest of not taking design so seriously, letting it be playful and maybe slightly meaningless, in terms of functionality. The project has resulted in a Jacquard woven collection exploring texture and volume through the design of tactile relief patterns which combines the Jacquard weaving with hand-painting. An aesthetic ambition in the project is to explore the intersection between hand-painting and industrial weaving, the meeting between the hand and the machine.
