Scarf, rectangular

A scarf that captures the changing nature of the surroundings of Backåkra, Sweden and details from the UN headquarters in New York. The pattern, a collage of segments with textures and images, reflects everything from the architecture of the UN’s entrance hall to the symbolic Peace rose outside the UN. A vibrant blue line accentuates the scarf's pattern, while a shaded border along the outer edges captures the UN's watchwords: peace, dignity, and equality on a healthy planet, handwritten by a student from the design team. The scarf is unisex and versatile.

Digital printing minimises chemical and water consumption, making it more sustainable. Woven in twill and made of 100% silk, a natural material.

The scarf was produced in Europe in collaboration with Eton, a company known for quality and innovation.
