The aim for this work is to explore form generating within industrial knitting using partial knit and tubing technique. Explores form generating within knitting. To use partial knit and tubing together to explore the 3D possibilities of knit.
In the result of this degree work you can see three different ways of partial knit together with tubular knit can create form using Shima Seiki industrial knitting machine. The different pieces have been inserted with different materials in order for the Formation to occur.
