Academic Writing - Giving "Cred" the Harvard Way

If you are interested in learning more about how to acknowledge the work of others, you are welcome to attend this lecture/workshop. We discuss when and how to give reference in-text. How to deal with paraphrasing and quotes will also be covered. Lastly, we discuss different definitions of plagiarism and how you avoid it. Our starting point is the Harvard style of referencing.

The activity is held in English.

Note! This is a generic session for all interested students at UB. Some programmes also have integrated sessions on academic language in their syllabus. Contents might be overlapping.
