I am from Ukraine and interested in studying in Borås – how do I proceed?
If you are a Ukrainian citizen and have applied for asylum in Sweden, or a citizen of EU/EEA or Switzerland, you can apply in our general admission round. Some of our study programmes can also be open for late admissions. You can apply for crediting on previous courses by contacting the Study Counsellor of the programme you are interested in.

I am a Ukrainian citizen and I have difficulties financing my studies, is there a scholarship I can apply for?
At the moment, the University of Borås does not offer scholarships aimed at Ukrainian citizens. However, students covered by the EU’s Temporary Protection Directive do not pay tuition fees.
I have residence permit under the EU’s Temporary Protection Directive in Sweden. Do I need to pay tuition fees?
No, applicants that have a residence permit in Sweden for other reasons than studies are exempted from paying tuition fees. However, you are required to provide documentation to prove your status for your application to be processed. The residence permit under EU’s Temporary Protection Directive must be issued in Sweden to free anyone from paying tuition fee.
I am from Ukraine and wish to come to Borås for an exchange, is that possible?
At the moment, there are no exchange agreements with Ukrainian universities at the University of Borås.
