Textile Technology
Within Textile Technology we offer courses in English at Bachelor and Master level in Textile Engineering, Textile Product Development and Polymers.
The courses are presented in course packages with 3-4 courses that together make 30 ECTS which corresponds to full time studies for one semester. Courses from different course packages cannot be combined but students that wish to study Swedish are encourages to add a Swedish language course to their course selection.

Courses Spring 2026
This is the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic calendar. All new exchange students should attend the Orientation Days.
Bachelor's level
Textile Futures: Design, Technology & Sustainability
New course package - Spring 2026
Exchange students enrolled in this package will study alongside our Textile Production and Innovation students.
- Design Processes and Prototyping 7,5 ECTS - P3 - syllabus to be decided
"This course introduces design methodology and rapid prototyping through theory and practice. Students will explore the iterative[GK1] process of analysis, synthesis, and evaluation, followed by workshops in concept development. By using simple materials and fast assembly methods, ideas are visualised and refined into prototypes. The course concludes with an initial product specification, with step-by-step presentations serving as examination."
- Digital Textile Transformation 7,5 ECTS - P3 - syllabus to be decided
" This course explores the changing landscape of digitalization within the textile industry, focusing on how emerging technologies influence and transform product development processes, production processes, and business operations in the textile sector. The course focuses on three core modules: digital tools for product development, automation in textile production, and digital transformation in business and supply chains. Students gain insight into the digital textile transition through theory, practical exercises, and industry experience."
