Textile constructions for composite materials, 7.5 hp
The course “Textile constructions for composite materials” teaches basic concepts in composite technology, linked to textile reinforcements with a focus on how they are structured and manufactured for optimal performance on the composite. The course will provide a basic understanding of advanced 2D and 3D processes available for manufacturing textile reinforcements. The course will also give examples of textile technical structures and how these control the composite properties. The course consists of a theoretical part, assignments and presentation.
