Abstract

This project outlines the development of a specialized self-learning module for newcomers in apparel design, with a specific focus on fostering 3D designing skills using CLO3D software. Employing a descriptive and exploratory research approach, the study utilizes diary notes and feedback sessions to shape the module's creation and assessment. The findings highlight the significance of catering to the unique requirements of beginners, aiming to provide accessible resources that enhance their proficiency and confidence in utilizing CLO3D. While acknowledging potential limitations, the study emphasizes practical implications for educators and industry professionals, presenting a valuable tool to support individuals in their journey towards mastering 3D design. Ultimately, this research fills a crucial gap in resources for newcomers, empowering them to flourish in the apparel design industry.
