Immersive Technologies and Computations Lab

The ITC Lab enables independent work with advanced digital tools for 3D modelling, animation, rendering, and simulation. The lab is also equipped with AR and VR technology, including associated hardware, a green screen, body scanning tools, and resources for performing technical calculations, algorithm development, and numerical analysis.

The ITC Lab is equipped with 15 desktop computers and wide screens, adapted for technical and design-oriented work. The lab can process large datasets, run predictive models, and apply advanced analytical methods.

An external server provides the necessary computing capacity and flexible access, making the lab particularly well suited to support courses and projects with high data and software requirements. The lab also supports applications with complex licensing rules and data communication needs for scientific visualisation and data analysis.

The ITC Lab has been funded by the Vice-Chancellor's strategic development funds and funds from the Swedish Textile Research Foundation.
