Åke Wibergs stiftelse
The Foundation was created in 1953 through a donation by the then Superintendent Åke Wiberg. During its existence, it has provided grants for scientific research and for the care and education of children and youth. Traditionally, the Foundation has primarily supported medical research, but also research in the humanities and social sciences. These grants have been awarded to individual researchers. Through grants to various organizations, the Foundation has been able to support the care and education of children and youth.
