The Collaborative Network for Climate Change in Religious Education (CORE)

The Collaborative Network for Climate Change in Religious Education (CORE) brings together scholars from across the globe, of different faiths and religious traditions, united in their commitment to addressing climate change in religious education. Central to its mission is the promotion of interfaith dialogue on climate change, research collaboration and the development of innovative educational approaches. By placing climate change at the heart of religious education, CORE seeks to inspire transformative action and deepen understanding of environmental stewardship in all educational contexts.

Membership of the network is for academic scholars with research or interest in Religious Education and free of charge. It is organised through a locked Google Group together with Zoom network meetings organised for planning and research presentation for the network members.

The network is led by Dr Viktor Aldrin, Associate Professor of Practical Theology and Religious Education at Borås University. For more information on how to get involved, please contact viktor.aldrin@hb.se.
