ACTION - A person-centred communication intervention

ACTION is an educational intervention for communication training of nursing staff. The ACTION study aims to test and evaluate the effect and meaning of a web-based educational intervention focuses on person-centred communication in community home care services.

Communication with patients is imperative in ensuring high quality care. Our previous research from the COMHOME-study points to challenges regarding communication with older persons. Today, there is a strong emphasis on person-centred care, even though the knowledge regarding how to realize such care is limited. Feasible interventions for continuously improved home care services is required.
