The Body, Dress, Space program challenges the understanding of fashion and dress through basic art and design research. The program experiments and explores new expressions and functions in clothing and fashion through approaching dress in its broadest sense as an intermediate between body and space.

Through basic experimental research the programs explore fundamental definitions and methods in relation to dress and fashion design in order to introduce new aesthetic models of dress and to expand the range of applications for clothing and fashion.

To do so the institutions of art in relation to dress is challenged through the development of technology, in the same time as the development in art is used to challenge the institutions of technology in relation to dress.
