Using the inherent cussedness of combined fibers and repeated tubular pattern structures, the aim is to generate three-dimensionality within the textile itself, as well as in the space it inhabits, by the achievement of an hollow self-standing textile material, stiff yet flexible.
Their graphical visual expression and haptic qualities reveal both sculptural and structural potentials, placing the work on the edge of artistic and design practices. They could perform as playful landscapes of soft architectural shapes, or become functional raw materials with various insulating properties relevant for interior spaces or architecture.
