Poor signal transfer between the body and the embedded electronics leads to recording noisy and low quality ECG signals by the garment especially for people with dry and old skin. The ElectrodeAd project, financed by Sparbanksstiftelsen Sjuhärad, aims to fabricate a reusable and sustainable electro-conductive adhesive to be used between textile electrodes and the skin in order to improve the quality of ECG signals recorded by smart garments.
