Particular focus will be placed on cooperation between emergency services, police tactics, prehospital emergency care, exercises and training, as well as preparedness and situational prevention. The specific aim of the project is to establish a research environment focused on these issues, which we call the Emergency Services Academy. The goals of this specific project are to create networks, formulate research questions, review the current state of research, and apply for funding. The project takes an interdisciplinary approach, drawing on knowledge from fields such as prehospital emergency care, education, psychology, sociology, criminology, and police studies.
