The project will also investigate the potential of circular material flows within the sector in order to meet the challenges of the future. Consumer awareness in regard to sustainability and recycling is rapidly increasing, making these issues apriority for producers. The project aims to evaluate the use of textile scrap or waste material as a secondary raw material resource within the material categories textile, plastic, composite and nonwoven.
