Most public transport services, including medical transport, outside urban areas are still focused on providing local, analog and time-bound bus services. RESPONSE addresses the transport challenge of reducing passenger volumes and low cost efficiency in these publicly funded organizations. RESPONSE in particular explores the untapped potential of demand-driven transport solutions (including travel service).

The purpose of the sub-project is to study vulnerable travel groups and their perceived experience of existing services for more than 2.5 years, with special focus on critical aspects such as reliability and user-friendliness.

RESPONSE is coordinated from Tallinn, Estonia with participating organizations (including regions, universities, public transport companies and public transport authorities) from Estonia, Lithuania, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
