Responsibility for knowledge - to develop a student role
Start date: 2023-09-01
End date: 2025-09-01
All students entering higher education undergo some form of transformation, but not all undergo a transformation that creates responsibility and independence. There is a big difference between, on the one hand, a student who sees himself as a recipient of knowledge and who leaves the responsibility for this to his teachers, and on the other hand, a student who sees himself as someone who has a responsibility to build knowledge himself together with his teachers and comrades. In addition, there are indications that students not infrequently initially show good responsibility and a high level of activity, then instead become more passive and oriented towards seeking the fastest way to their higher education credits. This makes especially visible the responsibility of the teachers to offer an educational environment that actually develops a student role of responsibility and independence.
The project is funded by the Strategic funding from the Vice-Chancellor.
