Comfort properties are one of the important characteristics in addition to physical properties. Thermal and moisture management properties are determined by the total comfort of textiles. The moisture transport capability of textiles can be measured using WickView.

This instrument will enable ongoing projects at the University of Borås to evaluate their developed textiles in terms of moisture management. One of these projects is the development of three-dimensional multilayer textiles for pressure ulcer prevention and incontinence applications, which can greatly benefit from this instrument. WickView will facilitate the work of researchers in assessing their developed spacer pads at various stages.
