Wearable sensors in smart textiles

The overall objective of the project is to develop a novel wearable sensor system with advanced signal processing and sensor fusion that utilises textiles as an active component to overcome problems related to signal artefacts emanating from the sensor-patient interface and to provide patient comfort. This sensor system aims to monitor the symptoms of neurological disorders such as epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and stroke.
