The study is carried out in collaboration with a large municipality, a smaller municipality and the disability rights organizations Autism Gothenburg, FUB and Grunden LS – Sweden's first trade union for people in daily activities.

The aim is to analyze how the coordination of employment and activities is organized – or lacking – and the conditions for creating a more inclusive and equal working life. A further aim is to explore how people from the target group experience and give meaning to work. The project contributes knowledge that can strengthen understanding of the conditions surrounding work for people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, and support the development of coordination towards a more equitable working life for all.
