One of the issues that becomes particularly relevant is the perceived safety and exposure to crime among employees who, during a working day, encounter a variety of situations and are exposed to different environments.

The fact that work is conducted in someone else’s arena rather than in a professional environment (such as a health center or hospital) also affects the sense of safety, and new risks emerge. These risks range from feelings of limited control over the environment, to actual exposure to crime.

As part of the project, a literature review is being conducted to identify the conditions required for the transition to Nära vård, from a crime prevention and safety‑promoting perspective.
