I am an associate professor of mathematics at the University of Borås. My area of research is numerical solution of deterministic and stochastic partial differential equations.
In particular I am interested in finite element methods, finite difference, and also exponential integrators for time integration of differential equations.
Typical model problems and applications are in e.g., linear and nonlinear viscoelasticity, wave propagation, parabolic and hyperbolic integro-differential equation, boundary control and stabilization for axially moving structures (string, beam, etc.) , flexible marine riser (offshore industry), etc.
