I work as a Senior Lecturer in the field of Textile Management. Prior to my current role, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Textile Value Chain Management Research Group from March 2022 to April 2023, where I conducted research work within the CLOSeD project. Before joining the University of Borås, I worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Textile & Apparel Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
I hold a PhD degree in Sustainable Consumption from the University of Manchester, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Textile & Apparel Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. My research interests revolve around sustainable and circular fashion, reverse supply chains, textile recycling, and remanufacturing.
