I work as an Associate Professor in Textile Management. Previously, I have worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Borås (2022–2023) and as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Textile & Apparel Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka (2013-2021).
I hold a PhD in Sustainable Consumption from the University of Manchester, UK, and a bachelor's degree in Textile & Apparel Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. My teaching and research primarily focus on sustainable and circular supply chains within the textile and apparel industry.
