I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Blekinge Institute of Technology. Since 2015, I have been working at the University of Borås as a Senior Lecturer, teaching computer science-related courses at both undergraduate and advanced levels.
My research is in applied computer science, with a focus on data analysis within industrial AI.
In my research, I concentrate on methods for detecting unusual patterns or errors in data, such as identifying system faults in industrial networks. My work includes improving data quality for experiments and optimising data-driven decision-making processes. I also investigate clustering (grouping of data) and test the effectiveness of various algorithms.
In my work, I use various AI-related techniques, such as machine learning methods for data analysis, including supervised and unsupervised learning (pattern detection). I also work with techniques like neural networks, reinforcement learning, simulations, and optimisation.
My research can be applied to various industrial systems, supporting decision-making in energy networks, road traffic, logistics, digital retail, and the healthcare sector, where AI can contribute to increased efficiency and accuracy.
