Mohammad Neaz Morshed holds a PhD degree in Mechanics of Solids, Materials, Structures and Surfaces from University of Lille (France), PhD in Textile Materials Technology from University of Borås (Sweden) and PhD in Textile Engineering from Soochow University (China) under the framework of Erasmus Mundus joint doctorate fellowship program about sustainable management and design for textiles (SMDTex). He has completed his master in Textile Engineering from Wuhan Textile University (China) and bachelor in Textile Engineering from Southeast University (Bangladesh). He is a 2013 National Champion of multilayered competition in Bangladesh (Textile Talent Hunt) and received award as outstanding international student at Wuhan Textile University with several other awards and recognitions.
Mohammad Neaz is an expert in textile material chemistry and textile biotechnology, specializing in fundamental research in smart and functional textiles development. His primary focuses involves- polymer surface modification, process engineering for textile functionalization, surface interaction optimization and sustainable functionalization strategies for durable binding of functional agents (enzymes, inorganic nanomaterial) onto textile fibers.
Mohammad Neaz has published 20+ scientific articles (H index 16), presented in 10+ international symposium/conferences and contributed in multiple book chapters in his domain.
