I am a senior lecturer in textile technology with focus on dyeing and finishing of textiles. In my research I focus on resource-efficient processes such as digital printing, spray dyeing and plasma technology for the development and production of textile materials for functional and smart applications. I have also looked into how educational tools such as virtual reality can improve the learning process and eventually improve the impact that resource-efficient production technologies such as inkjet printing can have on the textile industry.
