I am a lecturer in the section of textile technology with focus on dyeing and finishing of textiles. In my research I focus on resource-efficient processes for the development and production of textile materials for functional and smart applications.
In April 2020, I finalized my PhD in technology on ink jetting and UV-curing of photochromic materials with the thesis entitled Ink Jetting of Photochromic Ink – Towards the Design of a Smart Textile Sensor.
Currently, I am involved in the research project SusdigiTex – Development of a digital printing process with sustainable inks for functional clothing.
