I am a trained specialist paediatric nurse and since the autumn of 2022, I have been a doctoral student in Caring Science in the research area the Human Perspective in Care.

As part of my departmental duties, I teach in the Bachelor’s of Science nursing programme as well as in the specialist Master’s programmes for primary healthcare and paediatric nursing students.

My clinical experience comes from working in a paediatric emergency department with a wide range of different diagnoses and conditions. I also worked for two years at a refugee children's reception centre, mainly focussing on psychosomatic conditions in children.

My doctoral thesis work is on children's own experiences of mental health and ill health.
