Upgrade of the University's Central Web Authentication (IDP) on January 23
On Thursday (23/1) starting at 22:00, the University's Central Web Authentication (IDP) will be upgraded. The upgrade is expected to take about 15 minutes and the system will be available again at 22:15 at the latest.
During this period, it is not possible to log in to a large number of web services. It is also not possible to connect via VPN. Examples of services that are affected are Primula, BOX, Canvas, Google mail, eduSign, Ladok etc.

At the last Governing Board meeting of the year, it was decided to grant the Student Union of Borås continued union status at the University of Borås for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2028.

In mid-November, an external environmental audit was carried out at the university. The audit went well and the university retains its ISO 14001:2015 certification provided that non-conformities are addressed.
