As part of quality assurance, all educational programmes at the university are reviewed within the framework of a six-year cycle. The aim is for the university's educational programmes at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral levels to be constantly developed through systematic quality assurance work.
In evaluations of educational programmes at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral educational programmes, an evaluation is to be made of whether/how gender equality as a quality criterion is taken into account in relation to the students' education and educational environment (Reg. no. 762-19). The work on gender equality issues is followed up in quality and operational dialogues and through continuous follow-up of the education quality assurance system, which results in an annual report. The report is presented in the Vice-Chancellor's Management and Quality Council.
The research quality assurance system includes equality as an aspect among the quality criteria (Reg. no. 061-20) that form the basis for the local research evaluations carried out by the university's research areas. The work on gender equality issues is followed up in the Vice-Chancellor's annual operational dialogues and through continuous follow-up of the research quality assurance system, where the results are documented in an annual report that is presented to the university's management and committees.
