Education Committees
At the University of Borås, collegially elected committees are responsible for reviewing the structure and quality of the university’s educational programmes. Those responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of the educational programmes are the Vice-Chancellor and the managers or other responsible persons who have been appointed at the university. The organisation of the boards, which includes the education committees, has the task of reviewing the work of the organisation, as appropriate.
The underlying idea behind this distribution of responsibilities at the university is that collegial review of the quality assurance procedures of subject and working groups occurs after those who are responsible for the educational programme have finished their preliminary work and can present a basis for review/decision. This distribution of responsibilities is a central part of the university's systematic quality assurance work.
