EduTech's services

A couple of times per semester, EduTech arranges meetings where teaching staff can exchange experiences and where there is room for discussion. Feel free to contact us with suggestions for questions or themes to address. Upcoming events are announced in the university's calendar.

EduTech offers coaching and workshops on how you can use digital tools and mini-studios, and in collaboration with our media producers, you can create sustainable, accessible lectures of a high class.

Do you want to learn how to use all the possibilities Zoom has to offer, make educational PowerPoints that still look great, understand how to use a green screen, or find new ways to convey your ideas and lectures? Do you want help creating instructional videos or podcasts for interviews and conversations? Based on your competence in your field of expertise, we help you to create pedagogical digital elements for your courses.

In some cases, we can also make recordings of your lectures, both against a green screen and in other educational environments such as lecture halls. A completely new studio for live broadcasts, as well as a new studio for recordings, is under construction, which means that we have a lot to look forward to and would like to hear from you if you have questions regarding media production.

In 2022, EduTech runs a project to develop routines for and implement speech-to-text support. This is a step in making the university's material accessible to all. But did you know that research shows that a very large proportion of the users of subtitles and captions are students with a first language other than what is spoken? The benefit of accessible material is thus very broad.

Use HB Play or Amberscript to add captions to your material, and the latter is particularly suitable for transcribing empirical material such as interviews. We continually accept pilots for this project. EduTech also plans workshops on how to create sustainable, accessible lecture films - from the planning stage to the finished product. Do you have a request for a specific tool or program that you want to use in teaching? EduTech can evaluate on the basis of functionality, GDPR aspects, and licensing costs, as well as keep an eye on the development of new pedagogical tools.
