Accessibility report

There may be shortcomings in the content of the webpages.

• Some user-generated content in the learning platform (e.g. pages, images, or tables) is not accessible according to guidelines regarding headings, captions, and labels.
• Some page titles are not descriptive enough in accordance with guidelines.
• Some user-generated links are not clearly described and accessible according to guidelines.

In general, there may be sections with a lack of contrast between text and background.

• There may be videos that don't have subtitles.
• There may be HTML content that contains links without discernible text.

Canvas contains many documents uploaded and published in each course. These documents may have accessibility shortcomings.

• Images may lack or have incorrect texts.
• PDF documents with poor formatting
• Some documents have been scanned but not OCR processed 
• Tables in documents may lack of have incorrect header structure
• Language indications may be missing

We have performed a self-assessment of the website and manually reviewed a selection of course rooms in the platform. The Canvas learning platform also includes a feature to check accessibility, and this feature is shown during basic trainings given in Canvas.
