Presentation

The purpose of your text is for students, colleagues, journalists, and the general public to quickly get an idea of what you are working on and what they can ask you about. Express yourself clearly, concisely, and preferably in first person. Avoid wording like "Right now I'm researching..." - because it quickly becomes outdated.

Staff photo

If you are on campus and would like to be photographed for your employee contact information webpage, you are welcome to contact us at the Communications Office to make an appointment for employee photography.

If you want to use your own photo on the contact pages on the web, you need to take the following into account

• The photo should be recent and of good quality
• The photo should be in colour
• Neutral background (preferably white)
• Portrait format
• The photo should be taken straight from the front and show your face (shoulders and up)
• The photo must not have any type of filter or graphic elements
• It is important that the photographer approve the university’s use of the photo.
• have the proportions 2x3 with a minimum dimension of 200x300 px

Remember to send in a photo that is representative and it is important that the photographer approves that the university may use the photo on the website.

Research project

Link your researcher profile to projects on hb.se. Enter the link to the project you are participating in and we will connect you to the current project. You can find the projects in the research portal.

If the project is missing from the list, contact the project manager and ask the person to fill in the form via hb.se/new-research-project

Publications

Your researcher profile is automatically linked to DiVA at the University of Borås. Publications linked to your signature are connected to your researcher profile and the three most recent, in chronological order, are displayed in the publications list.

There is a function to display selected publications. Use this feature if you have publications you specifically want to display rather than, or in addition to the last three. Enter information in the last field (other information) which publications you want to highlight under the heading.

The publications that are not connected to DiVA at the University of Borås can be displayed using external links and are displayed under the heading External publications.

Processing of personal data

We need your consent to process the information you provide about yourself. The data will be processed by those responsible for the university's web and research communication in order to publish your researcher profile, to administer and communicate with you.

The data will be stored within the EU/EEA, and deleted after the event. The University of Borås is the personal data controller for the processing, which takes place with the support of Article 6.1 (a) of the data protection regulation (consent).

Giving consent is completely voluntary, and you can withdraw a given consent at any time.
