Pay rates and salary payment
Information about pay rates and salary payment
You will be paid after you have completed an assignment within the international job pool, where a salary payment is agreed to be your remuneration. In order to be paid, you need to fill out the compensation form.
Compensation
The compensation varies depending on whether you have worked weekdays, evenings, or weekends. If it is necessary to stay overnight for longer trips, a daily allowance will be paid when you are not working. All hourly wages are exclusive of holiday bonus pay.
Daytime: 135 SEK/h
Weekdays after 18:00: 140 SEK/h
Saturday and public holidays: 160 SEK/h
The compensation is counted as salary and will be subject to preliminary tax. Tax rules can be found at skatteverket.se (external link)
You will receive your compensation after you have submitted a Compensation form (pdf) . Payment is made via the university's payroll system and is paid on the 25th of each month. In order for you to receive your salary in a certain month, we need to have your hourly report completed with us no later than the 1st of the same month.
Salary payment
All salary payments are made via Danske Bank, which is the university's bank. If you have not received a salary from the University of Borås before, you must register as a "New payee" with Danske Bank. Indicate the university's customer number: 79157.
If Danske Bank does not have your bank account details, the payment of salary will be made via a payment card that will be sent to your home. You can then redeem the payment card for a fee at a bank branch. You will not receive a payslip to your home address, but you can pick it up from Danske Bank.
