Change of Examiner

A request for a change of examiner must be made well in advance of the next examination opportunity. However, there are exceptional cases where it is not possible to change, for example, if there is no one else who can perform the task.

A granted decision to change the examiner only applies to the next examination opportunity. The same applies in the case of a failed thesis. Since the right to compulsory work placement (VFU) is limited to two occasions, a change of examiner can be requested after just one failed examination.

A change of examiner does not mean that there will be a new assessment and grading of an already completed examination. Please note that a change of examiner does NOT affect the grading of your next exam – the teacher who grades your exam remains the same.
