Worms II
The Swedish School of Library and Information Science at the University of Borås, in collaboration with the research centre Higher Education and Research as Objects of Study (HERO) at Uppsala University and the Humanities in transition project (Stockholm University, RJ), is pleased to invite you to participate in the second edition of WORMS: an Exploratory Workshop on Research Methods and Metrics. This year’s workshop will take place in Borås, from Wednesday 5th November to Thursday 6th November.
Following the success of the first WORMS workshop in Uppsala, this edition will focus on exploratory methods for studying the social sciences and humanities (SSH). We aim to provide a collegial setting for sharing work in progress, discussing methodological challenges, and building networks for future collaboration in the fields of science and technology studies, research evaluation, and sociology of science.
We warmly invite you to share your ongoing projects, present empirical material, or reflect on conceptual and methodological issues. While presenting is optional, we strongly encourage participants to submit a brief title and abstract if they wish to contribute actively.
To help us organise a meaningful and engaging programme, please register your participation by October 17th through the following form: Registration - Worms II.
Please note that travel and accommodation costs will need to be covered by participants.
