Recorded literature
What are the rules?
Students with reading and writing difficulties are able to borrow recorded literature. The Library will provide you with an account. With an account you will be able to download the books you need directly from the web based MTM catalogue Legimus. The loan period is six months. To use the service, please contact contact the Library and we will help you get set.
With an account you may borrow mandatory course literature whether it is already recorded or has to be produced. Literature that requires new recordings will take six-twelve weeks.
Read and listen to the literature
The course literature is produced as talking books and e-text. The talking books are recorded versions of printed books. You can listen to talking books on a computer, smartphone or a dedicated player.
Reading text in web format
Using the Edge browser, you can have text in web format read aloud. Right-click on the web page and select “Read aloud”. For more streamlined web pages, you can press F9 to switch to a more pronounced reading mode.
Contacts
If you have questions about talking books, please contact the Library and we will help you to get set.
