Bibliometrics is a collection of quantitative methods used to analyse publications. The library has more information about bibliometrics here.
All research outputs at the University of Borås should be published in the repository DiVA. This includes everything from conference publications to exhibition catalogues and scientific articles. To do so, you can log in to DiVA yourself, or use our simplified registration form. You can find all DiVA links and much more information here.
EndNote is a program used for reference management in academic writing. We have collected information about EndNote and the help we offer with it here.
Are you unsure which journal you should publish your research in? The library can help you find a journal, which we write more about here.
Predatory journals and publishers are entities that prioritize self-interest at the expense of scholarship and are characterized by false or misleading information, deviation from best editorial and publication practices, a lack of transparency, and/or the use of aggressive and indiscriminate solicitation practices. Read more on our page here, and learn how to avoid them using our Predatory Journals and Conferences Guide.
The University of Borås participates in agreements with publishers that can make it free for authors to publish articles with open access in many different journals. You can find all of our agreements listed here, along with information on how to use them.
The library has a basic guide to what researchers should think about when it comes to data management. You can find it here.
Start the day with a short and informative presentation from the library. During the term, the library offers weekly 20-minute Zoom sessions. Find the current program here, where you can also find a list of all the topics we've covered to date. (Missed something interesting? Contact us and we'll give the presentation live!)
Information seeking can be an important but difficult part of the research process. It's something it might be a good idea to get expert help with. On our page here you will find a form to book a search support meeting with a librarian, and more information on what support and services we offer.
