You will be granted access to the relevant application documents and requirements profile in recruitment matters in our recruitment tool ReachMee upon your acceptance of the expert assignment and formal approval as an expert.

For Docent qualifications

When assessing qualifications for an appointment as docent, specific instructions apply as outlined in the document Regulations Governing Appointments to the 
Unpaid Academic Rank of Docent.

The review should still be comparable in scope and thoroughness to reviews described in the guidelines above. Please make sure to read both documents before you start writing your review.

How to submit your review

Sen your review to hr@hb.se and remember to:

• Include your name and academic affiliation
• Sign and date the statement
• Use your institutional email address, not a private one

How to submit your documentation

Send your documentation for fee payment to: hr@hb.se

If you reside in Sweden

• Use the form Sakkunnigarvode (pdf)
• The form does not need to be signed.
• To receive the payment to your bank account, you must first register your account with Danske Bank. More information and a registration link can be found in the form.

If you reside outside Sweden

• Use the form Basic data for payment of salary (pdf)
• Use the form Special income tax for non-residents (pdf)
• Attach a copy of your passport.

If you live abroad and carry out assignments in Sweden, you are subject to special income tax (SINK). The Swedish Tax Agency’s processing may delay the payment, so we recommend submitting the above documents as soon as possible.
Please complete the highlighted fields in the SINK form – other fields only if they are relevant to your situation.

Note: The Swedish Tax Agency may automatically send a letter requesting a personal visit for identity verification. You can disregard this – your case will be processed regardless.

Fee Levels

The fee depends on:

• The type of appointment (recruitment, promotion, or qualification for docent)
• The number of applicants to be assessed

In some cases, a cited publication may only be available in printed form. If this is the case, we will inform you and send the publication by post.
