Who can apply to the programme

Students with a Bachelor's degree in Textile and Fashion Design are eligible to apply. Additionally, students from other disciplines or with skills equivalent to a Bachelor's of Fine Art and Design may also be accepted if they can fulfill the necessary admission criteria, which typically include an understanding of design and creative design skills.

Department of design

Candidate selection

Eligibility assessment and selection are conducted based on artistic criteria. These assessments are primarily centred around the work samples in candidates' portfolios application projects and interviews.

The first step involves assessing the portfolio, considering artistic creative ability, proficiency in experimental work, technical skills, and reflective abilities.

In the next step, selected candidates are invited for an interview. A final assessment of eligibility and a ranking of applicants are conducted before making final acceptance decisions.

NOTE: You can apply for multiple specialisations; however, carefully choose and ensure that you apply for the selected specialisations in the right priority order to align with your goals and interests.
