My research concerns data and visualisations in societal contexts, a broad area of interest that I approach from various critical perspectives with emphasis on critical literacy, critical design, privacy, and ethics.

I have been a guest lecturer in visual learning and communication at the Department of Science and Technology (ITN) at Linköping University and Visualization Center C, Norrköping, and I have held an assignment as academic advisor to the European Commission in the Horizon 2020 Commission Expert Group to advise on specific ethical issues raised by driverless mobility (EU CAD; E03659). The report 'New recommendations for a safe and ethical transition towards driverless mobility' was published in September, 2020.

I currently lead the multidisciplinary, national research project CiLC-S - Crowdsourcing LongCovid Sweden.
