I am an Associate Professor (Docent) and Senior Lecturer at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science (SSLIS), University of Borås, and  Co-Director of INCLUDE – Centre for Inclusive Studies.

My research interests concern all things related to politics of data and visualisations in society. I approach this broad area of interest from various critical perspectives, emphasising sociomaterial aspects of critical literacy, critical design, privacy, ethics, bias, marginalisation and inclusion-exclusion.

These interests have led me to study and advise on power and politics related aspects of data and information use and production in a wide range of empirical contexts, including: policy recommendations for ethical implementation of automated vehicles in the EU; marginalisation of indigenous groups in cultural digitisation projects in Thailand; user privacy and internet access in Swedish public libraries; politicised information practices among long-COVID sufferers; and information infrastructures for development and use of environmentally sustainable plastics.
