Healthcare and dental care visits

You may have leave from work without a salary deduction in order to attend doctor visits and emergency and/or dental visits when you have been formally referred for dental work.

An employee may be have leave without a salary deduction in the following cases:

When visiting a doctor or occupational healthcare or receiving outpatient care
When visiting a maternity care centre
When donating blood
In case of emergency dental visits and dentist visits when you have been referred for examination or treatment.
