How can cultural heritage and art experiences be made more inclusive for everyone? This question took centre stage when the MuseIT research project held a two-day symposium in early September.

On 9-12 September 2025, up to 7,000 participants from all over the world will gather at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg to participate in EAIE – European Association for International Education. The University of Borås is one of six proud hosts of the event, together with the University of Gothenburg, Chalmers University of Technology, Jönköping University, Halmstad University, and the University of Skövde.

Rudrajeet Pal, Professor of Textile Management, has been appointed a prestigious mission by the International Trade Centre (ITC) to develop a training programme on eco-design for the circular textile economy.

Swarnima Agnihotri, Associate Professor in Biotechnology, tackles some of society’s major challenges—waste management and resource recovery. Through her research, she aims to access valuable components from agricultural and forestry residues and develop processes to convert them into new high-value products such as biofuels, bio-based materials, and eco-friendly chemicals.
