In this course, you will learn about different natural and artificial fibers in terms of structure, properties, and applications. The course gives you an overview and knowledge of the most common yarn spinning and texturing methods and properties of different yarn types and fibers mixtures. The course also addresses environmental sustainability aspects in manufacturing fibers and yarn based on different applications.

This course is for:

  • You who lack textile bachelor, but are interested in our master's program in textile technology
  • The textile industry and the public sector, who see a need for basic knowledge in fiber and yarn technology
  • You who want to learn about fiber and yarn
