Organisation

  1. Research groups – these are led by a research group leader and are based on the research’s needs and perspectives. There are several research groups within each research area and researchers can participate in several different groups, which may be interdisciplinary in nature.

See the university's research groups here

  2. Centres – these are linked organisationally to the university's Faculties but are university-wide with a focus on a common theme that transcends both area and subject boundaries.

  3. Science Park Borås – takes as its direct starting point the needs of the outside world and is a collaborative environment that offers creative and innovative meeting opportunities for people, companies, and different elements of society. With resources ranging from research to developing prototypes, opportunities are created for both new and established companies to grow. The focus is on contributing to positive societal development and to helping the business community move towards sustainable innovations, circular processes, and business models.
